Menu of the day: Japanese crochet instead of food!

presented by Simobastelt

Eating Japanese was yesterday – today I’m swinging the needle for you! Together with the Bastelbistro, I, Simoart, am serving you delicacies that will make you hungry for more, but are guaranteed not to leave anyone cold.
What’s on my menu?
From classic onigiri to fluffy dumplings and colorful dango skewers. I’ll show you how to transform your wool scraps into little works of art – as a personal treat or as a gift for others.

Your menu procedure:
Zensai (preparation): I invite you to the Bastelbistro to tame the Magic Ring on the one hand, but also to get the fixed stitches “in your fingers” again.

Shujatsu (workshop): We crochet our Japanese favorites together. Depending on the yarn size, they can be turned into key rings, decorative cushions or – for the very brave – dainty earrings with needles below needle size 1. (Prerequisite: the safety of the fixed stitch is a “must” here).
Kashi (finish): In a second appointment, we finish everything in the Bastelbistro. I also have more instructions to add to your range.
So, what can I serve you? Come by, take a seat and let’s “finish” together.

The Bastelbistro is a growing community for handicrafts, crochet and bookbinding. Workshops are held here as part of the conventions, but there are also virtual meetings via Discord. The Bastelbistro is free of charge.
