Do you enjoy being on stage and have you always wanted to wow the audience with your performance?

Your cosplay isn’t complete if you can’t make an incredible appearance in it? Is performing just in your blood? Then this competition is perfect for you!

The Cosplay Performance Contest is all about your performance. Of course, a cosplay is a must. The costume is not judged in this competition. Instead, the rating is based on how your cosplay moves during the performance and how well you can interact with it.

Rules:

The jury evaluates the performance according to authenticity, entertainment value, originality or recognition value and realization.
For couples and groups of 2 or more people, the total points are divided by the number of people.
If you would like to submit an audio file, please bear in mind that it must be shortened in advance to the length of your performance, or to the maximum length of 3 minutes (max. 5 minutes for groups of 2-3 people). All common formats, such as mp3, flac, oga or m4a, with a maximum file size of 5MB, are permitted.
During the stage presentation, no visitors may be endangered by the costume, the launching of objects or other dangerous actions that could lead to injury.
Please keep your performance adult-free (no depiction of violence or pornographic content). Please make sure that your costumes fit well.
Use shorts/safety pants to avoid wardrobe mishaps. The costume and the stage presentation must not exceed FSK 16.
Weapons that do not comply with the weapons or house rules and have been marked as such by security are only permitted for the duration of the performance and must be handed in at the checkroom for the rest of the time.
The use of liquids on the stage is prohibited.
An additional helper may be used on the stage.
Own characters (OCs) are allowed.
Start numbers will be allocated in the order in which registrations are received.
The winnerswill be presented at the award ceremony on Sunday, 12.05. 2024, was announced. By participating in the cosplay performance at HanamiCon 2024, participants* agree toto be filmed and photographed by the dedicated team.
A cosplay is a prerequisite, but it does not have to be homemade.
All types of performance are permitted – whether dance, monologue, dialog, etc.

IMPORTANT! Maximum file size for the audio file is 5 MB, maximum email size 25 MB!

Depending on the number of registrations, we reserve the right to make a “first come, first serve” selection. The rules can still be changed slightly. If you have any other questions about this competition, just send them to us at cosplay@hayuko.at

Prices:

This year Spark7 is presenting the contest and providing cash prizes for the top 3 finishers.
In addition, there will be various cosplay materials as prizes, which will be provided by CosplayShop.be!

Prize distribution:
1 place – 300€ + prizes Cosplay Shop
2nd place – 150€ + prizes Cosplay Shop
3rd place – 50€ + prizes Cosplay Shop

The winners will be announced at the award ceremony on Sunday, May 12. 2024,
