In this workshop, you will bind three tiny books the size of a €2 coin – each one unique and handmade. Step by step, you will learn how to create small books from prepared individual parts: You design the book covers, attach the endpapers and spine reinforcement, attach the book block to the cover and complete your work with gluing and pressing. Finally, transform your miniature books into small pieces of jewelry – such as earrings, pendants or keychains. In the end, you will not only take home knowledge, but also three unique works of art.
Note Some manual dexterity is helpful, but don’t worry – all steps are shown and accompanied. Ready-made material packs are also available to take away if you want to continue at home.
