E-sports at the Hanamicon 2026!
The upcoming edition of Hanamicon will be the venue for the 15th edition of the CHOP. tournament series! This means that we will not only be hosting the usual Smashbros. Tournament, but also tournaments for other esports titles as well as some side events.
The following tournaments are on the program:
- SSBU Singles & Doubles
- Tekken 8
- Street Fighter 6
- Beyblade X
- Crocodoc
Pre-registration:
In order to guarantee a smooth tournament process, we will prepare the tournament tree before the start of the event, which is why we want to give you the chance to pre-register.

On-site registration is of course still possible if places are available.
Good to know:
You must bring your own controllers and headphones for the tournaments!
The tournaments will be held in a double elimination system
Participation in the tournament is free of charge, but a valid Hanamicon ticket must be purchased. Info and tickets

Distribution of prize money:
The prize money for all tournaments is distributed according to the following formula:
First place: 50%
Second place: 30%
Third place: 20%
Prize pool
SSBU Singles: 400€, provided by spark7!
SSBU Doubles: 100€, provided by spark7!
Tekken 8: 100€
Street Fighter 6: 100€
Beyblade X: Prizes in kind TBA
You must bring your own controllers for the tournaments! For hygiene reasons, only a few loan controllers can currently be issued.
Tickets:
A valid ticket for the respective day of Hanamicon is required for participation. These can be purchased in the online store.
