The competition will take place on Saturday 06.06.2026 on the main stage.
How do I register?
Send us the form below by Friday, 15.05.2026, 23:59. If we receive too many registrations, there will be a pre-selection.
In this case, the jury will select the participants in advance who will finally compete on site.
It is possible to register as an individual or as a group. Individual and group acts will be judged and chosen separately (see rules for more information)!
How does the evaluation work?
Each of the 3 jurors awards 1-10 points for each of the evaluation categories. After the contest, the judges come together for the evaluation, where the performances are discussed and the final points are evaluated.
The winners in the individual and group categories are announced at the award ceremony on the respective day. The prizes will be presented on stage. If you are unable to attend the award ceremony, please provide your contact details at the information stand.
What evaluation criteria are there?
Self-choreographed dances are evaluated according to creativity, execution/implementation and interaction with the music.
For cover dances, execution and implementation are evaluated.
For all participants, facial expressions, eye contact, audience interaction, stage use and synchronicity/positions (in the case of group participants) are important evaluation categories.
What rules should be observed?
- As we only have a limited time slot, your performance should take between 3 and 5 minutes.
- Participants must arrive backstage 15 minutes before the start.
- There is a waiting list. You will be notified by e-mail if you are unable to take part. If you are unable to take part in the competition, please notify us by e-mail so that we can inform the participants on the waiting list.
- The recording of images and audio recordings of participants is automatically permitted and can be used afterwards.
- A valid Hanamicon ticket is required to participate. Tickets can be purchased at the VKK or at the box office.
- Participants should wear safety pants to protect their privacy and comfort.
- For their own protection, underage participants should not wear clothing that is too revealing (e.g. bikini tops, etc.).
I would like feedback, is that possible?
Yes, but our jury is not obliged to give feedback. The requests after the contest are often so numerous that this is such a time-consuming task that feedback is not possible for everyone. We therefore ask you to remain polite and respectful towards the jury.
What prizes can be won?
